A driver was stopped by police this week because of an insecure load.
Police later found out the driver was uninsured and a provisional license holder – driving on a motorway.
This was just one of the incidents covered by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit this week – the policing unit which patrols Peterborough’s roads.
Other incidents included a lorry driver using a mobile phone.
The Peterborough Telegraph has compiled a round-up of the images shared on the BCH Road Poling Unit’s social media account this week:
1. Provisional licence holder
The driver of this vehicle stopped in Peterborough was a provisional licence holder and had no supervising driver or L plates. Driver reported and vehicle seized. Photo: BCH
2. Uninsured driver
The driver of this vehicle had no insurance. The vehicle was previously seized earlier this month for the same offence. It was a different driver at the wheel this time, who was reported and the vehicle was seized. The driver received six points and a £300 fine. Photo: BCH
3. Uninsured provisional license holder
