Man charged with shoplifting in Peterborough

A man will appear in court charged with three counts of shoplifting from Queensgate.

Cristi Vasile, (25), was arrested in Queensgate shopping centre yesterday morning (Monday 10 February) on suspicion of theft.

He has since been charged with three counts of theft; two relating to £322 worth of shampoo and perfume from Boots, and food worth £12.50 from Marks and Spencer.

Vasile, of Hankey Street, Peterborough, has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 12 March.
