Warwick gives his backing to biker Rebekah
Rebekah Cheshire (24) was miraculously kept alive by two Magpas GPs five days before Christmas in 1994 after the car driven by her mother Louise Cheshire (then Donaldson) spun into a 10-foot ditch after an accident outside Thorney.
Rebekah, who was not even three at the time, twice appeared to stop breathing, but the doctors kept her alive as they rode by ambulance to Peterborough District Hospital.

Hide AdDespite not expecting to survive the ordeal, and being told it was likely she would remain in a vegetative state, Rebekah has learnt to walk, talk, hear, eat, sit and see again.
And after inviting everyone to ‘Run with Rebekah’ last year as she took part in two running challenges, she is now going one step further by taking on her first bike challenge to raise more money for Magpas.
Harry Potter and Star Wars star Warwick joined Rebekah at the Yaxley Festival last Saturday where he was carried along by a tandem bike while standing in a ‘chariot’. He said: “Rebekah is an incredible young woman who is really pushing herself to raise funds for a vital cause.
“It’s only when you need help from Magpas Air Ambulance that you realise just how essential their service is.”
