Peterborough United could keep Ivan Toney if they win promotion this season
Toney (23) is certain to be a target for bigger clubs in the summer regardless of whether or not Posh go up.
He has scored 26 goals so far in an outstanding season and he was the subject of multi-million bids from Championship promotion hopefuls Brentford in January.

Hide AdPosh resisted selling their biggest asset then, but they would find it hard to reject bids of £10 million or more in the summer which is what the club expect to receive.
But Ferguson said: “If we go up we have a chance of keeping Ivan.
“We have no chance if we don’t go up.
“If we are in the Championship next season I am sure the chairman, the co-owners and Barry Fry (director of football) will sit down with Ivan and make him a very good offer.
“Ivan wants to play in the Championship, but I also know he loves it here and he knows he will play every week here, but it’s a certainty there will be a long list of clubs who fancy signing him.

“His ability is not in question, but his attitude is also first-class. He never gives anyone any trouble. He just trains hard and plays hard.
“If we can get him to stay that would be fantastic, but for now I just want him to concentrate on helping us to the Championship.
“We can worry about the other stuff after that.”
Posh have a habit of cashing in on forwards they have helped develop for a big profit. They then reinvest some of that cash in lower division potential.
Toney only cost around £400k when he was signed from Newcastle in August 2018.
He has since scored 49 goals in 94 Posh appearances (17 as a sub).
