Peterborough United have formed official partnerships with eight local junior football clubs.

The clubs are Netherton United, Kings Lynn Elite, Polonia, Peterborough Blues, Nene Valley, Club GK, Glinton and Northborough and AFC Stamford.

The idea of the partnership is to establish a successful link and pathway with outstanding local grassroot clubs.

A Posh statement read: “The partnerships will have positive benefits for both clubs, providing opportunities for players and staff members at partner clubs, through integration with our network of highly qualified coaches and our sport science team.

“The partner clubs will receive development events hosted by Posh staff across all dimensions of the game from coaching to sport science.

“They will also have access to fixtures with our academy age groups and be entered into a yearly partner club tournament.

Local clubs interested in partnering Posh can contact Sam Gaughran ([email protected]) who will deliver a presentation on the agreement.
